Now I've probably copy/pasted the wrong thing here and got a fix that just set it back to it's base options with LOD and Anti Aliasing unchanged. The most common fix that I found and have done involves going into Windows (C:) > Users > OneDrive > Documents > Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data and initially rewriting the options.ini file to say exactly this.

Thanks to EA's wonderful porting to Origin, many options are limited on how to fix bugs like these even though the game runs A-OK on my laptop. Now upon a quick Google search I came across what looks like the most common solution to problems involving running Generals on modern PCs.

And yet, no problems have arisen with the base game as I have previously stated. And yet, I'm not having this problem with the base Zero Hour game. I won't bore y'all with the details on what it entails, but to cut to the chase I seem to be having some kind of crash issue when playing the mod. To my surprise, I stumbled across a little mod called Rise of The Reds. After taking a trip down memory lane and reinstalling C&C Generals and Zero Hour, I thought I'd try something different and look for a mod that could spice up the gameplay.
